«Berg und Fluss» 山水 Yang Jing Solo Concerts

Music since the ancient been very much concerned about the relations of Man with Nature. As a naturalized immigrant with a cultural background derived from ancient China, I approached what has become my new home culture by working with different local Swiss musicians, friends, and family members. The majesty of the Swiss Alps and of the quiet and lovely meandering, yet energetic river Aare as God that lives in every human being and is present in our living environment.

‘Nature is the basis from which we derive our very existence, it is what we breathe until the day we will disappear and merge in it.

I’m very pleased being able to master an instrument, to use the instrument as my voice, to share feeling and thoughts through instruments.

The plucking instruments Pipa and Guqin brought me to a journey, not only in the concert halls worldwide, but also my inner journey. I have a lot of ‘musical words’ need to speak out. I’m longing to share my musical collections through the inner and outer journey with listeners’.
